BOBAN DZUNIC NEW PRESIDENT OF PALILULA MUNICIPALITY

During the first session of Palilula Municipal Assembly, held on the same day, after the completion of the work of constituting session, new Palilula authorities were elected.With the majority of votes of the councilors, Boban Dzunic, lawyer, from the list `Pokrenimo Palilulu` (Let us start up Palilula), Tomislav Nikolic (SPS, NS, PSS-BK, PS) was elected for the president of Palilula Municipality.Newly elected president of the Municipality was born in 1968. He graduated Law Faculty in Nis, has passed bar exam and has specialization in the sphere of criminal law (defense of the accused of crimes). Working career started in enterprise `Multikomerc` DOO and from 1998 has been working as a lawyer – solicitor. He is also in sports. He is one of the founders of Serbian progressive party –SNS in Nis and president of Municipal council of Palilula and member of Main board of SNS.

Function of the vice president of the Municipality of Palilula will be performed by Bratislav Vuckovic, lawyer, from the list URS, born in 1960. Vuckovic graduated in Nis and at the moment is assistant of general manager in JKP `Mediana`. During the last two mandates he was the councilor in the City of Nis Assembly.

The members of Palilula Municipal Council will be Milan Andrejic, manager, URS; Svetislav Petrovic, qualified worker, SPS; Zlatko Semic, retired SPS; Milos Stoiljkovic, graduated engineer of telecommunication SNS and Ivica Stojanovic, graduating student of Economic faculty SNS.

Boban Dzunic, new president, addressed the members of new Assembly, that numbers 25 councilors, after the completed election procedure: `I would like to thank all who voted for me and those who din not - emphasized president Dzunic. From this moment on, with all my assistants – workers of Municipal government, I will work for the benefit of all Palilula citizens`. He also thanked to former president of Municipality Novakovic on his successful leadership of the Municipality and emphasized that he would continue with work and try to even surpass his results.

During the first session of the Assembly, the councilors also elected Palilula vice Assembly president. This activity will be performed by Sasa Matic, chief of the councilors group G17 + in former mandate of Palilula Municipality. Matic is employed in JKP Mediana as manager of Contact Centre.
